The cost of travel time and any allowance chargeable to the Lower Mainland Interchange Pool is to be billed as follows:

  1. Employers paying travel time for longshore employees to travel from Vancouver to Squamish Terminals and return should bill the Lower Mainland Interchange Pool, at rates set by the BCMEA from time to time, for 1½ hours travel time for each employee required to travel.
  2. The BCMEA Vancouver Dispatch office will continue to prepare time sheets for all other reimbursable travel within the Lower Mainland area. The BCMEA will pay the employees directly from the Lower Mainland Interchange Pool.
