BCMEA Despatch System Upgrade

The BCMEA Information Services Team has successfully upgraded the Core Despatch Production Server Hardware and Software with new equipment and up-to-date software. This upgrade was performed to bring significant improvements to the capacity, reliability and availability of the Systems, which were implemented back in late 2000 and were 6 years old.

Although this upgrade was performed at a selected time frame to reduce the impact to our users, we apologize for any inconvenience that were experienced by our users during the service outages.

The BCMEA Management Team would like to congratulate all involved in the planning, upgrade and testing of the systems on a job well done.

For example, a lines plugin at 11:30am will only be active until noon on the same day. A lines plugin entered at 12:01pm will be active until noon the following day.
